Terms & Conditions for Participants

Participation in Mekong TESOL is open to English teachers, educators, teacher trainers, education managers, researchers, and students across Vietnam and abroad.

• Accuracy of Information: Registrants must provide accurate personal credentials (Full Name, Affiliation, Email, and Phone Number). The Organizing Committee assumes no liability for incorrect names entered during registration resulting in inaccurate E-Certificates.
• Non-Transferability: Confirmed QR registration codes are personal and strictly non-transferable to other individuals without prior written authorization from the Secretariat.

Under the generous support of Can Tho DOET, Gia Viet Foreign Language Center, the University of Wollongong, and academic sponsors, attendance at Mekong TESOL 2026 is completely free of charge.

• What is Included: Access to all Keynote and Invited plenary addresses, concurrent breakout sessions, official conference booklet (digital), networking breaks, and digital E-Certificate of Participation.
• Travel & Lodging: Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and personal meals outside of provided tea-breaks.

An official Electronic Certificate of Attendance with a unique verification code will be issued to delegates who meet attendance verification requirements.

• Verification Rule: Participants must scan their QR code at the check-in reception desks on the morning of July 19, 2026, and attend scheduled plenary and concurrent sessions.
• Dispatch Timeline: Digital certificates will be generated and emailed directly to your registered email address within 14 working days after the conference concludes.

Mekong TESOL is a documented academic gathering. Official media crew and photographers will capture still photos and video recordings throughout the venue.

• Media Use: Captured media may be used in post-conference recap videos, academic reports, and non-commercial promotional materials.
• Photography Opt-Out Sticker: Attendees who prefer not to appear in close-up photographs or video clips can request a specialized "No Photo" badge sticker marker at the welcome reception desk. Our media team will respect this preference.

Mekong TESOL is dedicated to providing an inspiring, respectful, and harassment-free academic experience for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, ethnicity, or religion.

• Classroom Etiquette: Please silence mobile phones during presentations. When participating in Q&A sessions, maintain constructive, polite, and scholarly dialogue.
• Prohibition of Unsolicited Promotion: Commercial solicitation, distribution of unauthorized flyers, or product marketing by participants is strictly prohibited inside lecture halls without formal sponsorship clearance.

All presentation slides, handouts, and research content shared during Mekong TESOL remain the intellectual property of the respective authors and speakers.

• Fair Use for Learning: Participants are encouraged to take notes and apply pedagogical concepts in their classrooms.
• No Commercial Reproduction: Recording full presentations for redistribution or publishing slides without explicit written permission from the original presenter is strictly prohibited.
